There is a growing debate surrounding whether individuals over the age of 65 should be allowed to continue working or if there should be a mandatory retirement age. This issue has sparked a range of opinions, with some believing that older individuals should be able to work for as long as they choose, while others argue that there should be a cut-off age for employment.
Those who support the idea of individuals over 65 being allowed to continue working often highlight the valuable experience and knowledge that older employees bring to the workforce. They argue that older individuals can serve as mentors and provide guidance to younger colleagues, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the organization. Additionally, many older individuals may rely on their income to support themselves financially, and forcing them into retirement could create financial strain.
On the other hand, those in favor of a mandatory retirement age argue that older individuals may not be able to keep up with the physical and mental demands of certain jobs. They also argue that by retiring older individuals, it creates opportunities for younger generations to enter the workforce and advance in their careers.
