Sample Answer:
In today’s society, the issue of who should be responsible for transporting children to school is a topic of much debate. While some people believe that it is the duty of the government and school authority to provide transportation for students, others argue that this responsibility should fall on the parents. In this essay, I will discuss both views and provide my opinion on the matter.
Those who advocate for the government and school authority to transport children to school argue that it is their duty to ensure the safety and well-being of students. They believe that providing transportation not only ensures that all students have equal access to education, but also alleviates the burden on parents who may not have the means to transport their children to school. Additionally, they argue that having a reliable transportation system in place can help reduce traffic congestion and pollution around schools.
On the other hand, proponents of the idea that parents should be responsible for transporting their children to school argue that it is ultimately the parents’ duty to ensure their children’s safety and well-being. They believe that by transporting their own children, parents can better monitor their children’s whereabouts and ensure that they arrive at school safely. Moreover, some argue that having parents transport their children to school fosters a sense of responsibility and independence in children, as they learn to navigate their way to school.
In my opinion, I believe that the responsibility of transporting children to school should be a shared one. While it is important for the government and school authority to provide transportation options for students, parents should also be involved in ensuring their children’s safe arrival to school. This shared responsibility can help ensure that all students have access to transportation while also allowing parents to play an active role in their children’s education.
In conclusion, the issue of who should be responsible for transporting children to school is a complex one. While both sides of the argument have valid points, I believe that a collaborative approach involving the government, school authority, and parents is the best way to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
