As a professional in the field of engineering, I understand the importance of this debate regarding whether professionals should be required to work in the country where they received their training or if they should be free to work in another country if they wish.
On one hand, there are valid arguments for requiring professionals to work in the country where they received their training. This can be seen as a way to give back to the community that invested in their education and training. It can also help to address skill shortages in certain areas and contribute to the development of the country’s economy. Furthermore, working in the country of training can provide professionals with a deeper understanding of local issues and challenges, allowing them to better serve the needs of the community.
On the other hand, there are strong arguments for allowing professionals to work in another country if they wish. Globalization has made it easier for professionals to seek opportunities abroad, and restricting their mobility could be seen as a barrier to their personal and professional growth.
