By investing in preventive measures such as education, vaccination programs, and promoting healthy lifestyles, governments can reduce the burden on their healthcare systems. This is particularly important in low and middle-income countries where resources are limited and the cost of treating illnesses can be overwhelming. By allocating more funding to prevention, governments can ultimately save money and allocate resources more efficiently.
