In my opinion, while international sporting events do offer an opportunity for the host nation to display its strengths, the cost associated with organizing such events cannot be overlooked.
On one hand, hosting an international sporting event allows a country to demonstrate its organizational skills, infrastructure, and hospitality to the global audience. It provides an opportunity for the host nation to promote tourism, boost its economy, and enhance its international reputation.
