While I agree that raising the price of petrol could potentially reduce the number of vehicles on the road and decrease pollution, I believe that there are other measures that could be more effective in addressing these problems.
Firstly, it is true that an increase in the price of petrol would likely lead to a decrease in the number of vehicles on the road, as people may opt for alternative modes of transportation or carpooling to save on costs. This could help to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce the emissions of harmful pollutants into the atmosphere.
