While some argue that teachers have a greater influence than parents in a child’s development, others believe that parents play a more significant role. In my opinion, both teachers and parents have a crucial impact on a child’s development, and their roles cannot be compared or ranked in terms of importance.
First and foremost, parents are the primary caregivers and role models for their children. From a very young age, children look up to their parents for guidance and support. Parents are responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment at home, which is essential for a child’s intellectual and social growth. They are also instrumental in instilling values, morals, and social etiquette in their children. Therefore, it is undeniable that parents have a profound influence on a child’s overall development.
