There is a common belief that hobbies need to be challenging in order to be enjoyable. However, I disagree with this notion to a large extent. I believe that the enjoyment of a hobby is not solely dependent on its level of difficulty, but rather on the personal interest and satisfaction it brings to an individual.
First and foremost, the purpose of a hobby is to provide relaxation and enjoyment. Engaging in a hobby should be a way to unwind and de-stress from the demands of everyday life. Therefore, it is important that a hobby brings joy and fulfillment to an individual, regardless of its level of difficulty. For example, some people find pleasure in simple activities such as gardening, knitting, or painting, which may not be considered difficult but still bring a sense of satisfaction and relaxation.
Furthermore, the enjoyment of a hobby is subjective and varies from person to person. What may be difficult and challenging for one individual may not be the same for another. Therefore, it is unfair to impose the idea that hobbies need to be difficult in order to be enjoyable. For instance, some people find joy in activities such as bird watching, photography, or playing musical instruments, which may not be inherently difficult but still provide a sense of fulfillment and happiness.
Moreover, the level of difficulty of a hobby should not be the determining factor of its enjoyment. Instead, the focus should be on the personal interest and passion that an individual has for a particular activity.
