In today’s fast-paced and competitive world, children are indeed facing mounting pressures from various angles. These pressures stem from a multitude of factors, including the increasing emphasis on academic excellence, the pervasive influence of social media, and the relentless marketing tactics employed by commercial entities targeting young consumers.
The primary cause of academic pressure on children is the intense focus on standardized testing and academic achievement. With the growing emphasis on test scores and grades, children are often subjected to immense pressure to perform well in their studies, leading to heightened stress and anxiety. Furthermore, the rise of social media has created a new set of social pressures for children, as they are constantly bombarded with curated images of seemingly perfect lives, fostering unrealistic expectations and a fear of missing out.
