How far do you agree with this opinion? What criteria should be used to decide how much people are paid?

In today’s society, there is a growing sentiment that certain professions, such as nurses, doctors, and teachers, are undervalued and should be compensated more fairly. While I do agree with this opinion to a certain extent, I believe that the criteria for determining fair compensation should be based on the level of skill, expertise, and contribution to society.
First and foremost, it is undeniable that the work of nurses, doctors, and teachers is of great importance to the well-being and development of individuals and communities. Nurses and doctors work tirelessly to care for the sick and injured, often in high-stress and demanding environments. Teachers, on the other hand, play a crucial role in shaping the minds and future of our youth. Their contributions to society are invaluable and should be reflected in their compensation.
On the other hand, it is also true that film actors and company bosses are often paid exorbitant amounts of money that seem out of proportion to the importance of their work. While entertainment is undoubtedly important, it is essential to recognize that the work of healthcare professionals and educators directly impacts the health and knowledge of the population, making their contributions arguably more significant.
In determining fair compensation, I believe that the level of skill, expertise, and contribution to society should be the primary criteria.
